We extend our sincere sympathy to Al's family. Since the '60's his wizardry with the welding machine and enjoyable conversation have made our lives better. R.I.P.

We have lived on La Fond since 1978 and while we did not get to know Mr. LaFond personally, we were on a "waving" relationship which was daily until he stopped driving. We will miss his smile.

Diane, David and Dan. I can't even express my thought of your loss!! Your dad and mom held a very spot in my heart! Your dad would sit with me and tell me war story's which I loved. The 1st time I ever spent the night over there grandma opened the door with vampire fangs on and scared me. ( lol ) Grandpa will be missed so so much by many people. You guys should be PROUD of such a great father and mother! Love you all Hock

To Diane, David and Dan, Your Dad was such a great friend of Lyall's! Now they are both gone. I'll always remember our visits with your folks and "eating out". Your Dad was the nicest person I have ever met!! I'm in California and probably won't be back til May. Please accept my sincere sympathies. N6435 State Rd 108, West Salem, WI 54669

Never had the pleasure of meeting Al, but heard about him and his family from his daughter-in-law, Judith. Her love and respect for him and Dolly was evident in everything she said about them. Jude, I am sorry for your loss and the loss your family feels at the passing of David's dad. Thinking of you with love.

I was sorry to see that Albert passed away. I worked at Terpsta's gas station from 1968 to 1970. I waited on your mom and dad at the gas pumps during that time. They both were always so nice to me! I still remember the red 1957 Chevy station wagon they had at that time. In 1969 my dad was dying from cancer and your dad let me bring him over to your house to fish off of your dock!! We even caught some fish! My dad really enjoyed that and I never forgot Al's act of kindness. I saw Al at the Family Restaurant some time ago and said hi, he didn't remember, but I never forgot!!

RIP Al, great guy and best welder around. Saved my bacon when I messed up my dad's prop and lower unit. Al fixed it and it looked like new, my old man never found out.
