Our thoughts and prayers are with Donna, Paula and family. Denny was a classmate, co-worker and very dear friend. Over the years Denny helped so many people when they needed it and never asked for anything in return. We will remember Denny in our hearts and prayers forever.

I was so sorry to hear of Denny's battle & loss of life. And what a beautiful life force he was. He was always kind and welcoming to me over the years. Always had a smile on his face and a easy way about him which made him a joy to be around. My condolences to you, Donna and Paula and your whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Donna and Paula. My heart goes out to you both for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather! I loved that man like a brother! Dennis, Punky, DH, Bentz,Fishhook! Whatever the name, the man was the same. Little did I know when we were in our bassinets at the old La Crosse hospital that this man would bless me with his lifelong friendship and esprit de corps! What a lucky and better person I am for having you both in my life! There are many accolades that could be attributable to Dennis, but they areTNTC! Simply said he was a good Christian man, loving husband, father and grandfather! His presence will truly be missed by all those he touched, however, the memories that he created with others will remain forever! Love you both!!

I first met Dennis while walking to work for the 11:30 PM switch job for the railroad. A skunk chased me out from the sidewalk onto the street while Dennis was driving his Volkswagen van by. He stopped and asked if I needed a ride. It was the first time meeting Dennis and how odd that we were going to work together that night! He stopped by his mother's house on the way to work where she had packed him a lunch. What a great memory for me to share with his family. Of course, I knew him for well over 40 years and always enjoyed his company.

I got to know Denny when he hung out with my brother during their high school days. They were members of the famous "Oinkers" intramural basketball team at Logan and were very proud of that. Denny was always very positive and always had a kind word to say. He was a good man. I was lucky to have known him. God Bless Donna and the family.

Donna and Paula, my condolences. Denny touched the lives of so many people in so many ways. His zest for life and compassion for everyone he knew, made him unique. I remember the day, when Denny and i were roommates, we were at Riverside throwing a frisbee and he met you and what a beautiful story that evolved into. So many years ago. A good person, sadly missed by many, forever.
