What a loss. I am so sorry. I went to Cotter with Madelyn and shared many classes with her. She was a gentle and artistic person. Enjoyed by all her classmates.

We live in Winona in the house next to where Marcy and Helen Chouinard lived. So sorry for your loss. We enjoyed visiting with Marcy about his family. He spoke of Madelyn and the Grandchildren with great love. We did meet some of the grandkids when they were young. I see she was blessed with 10 grandchildren. I imagine she spoiled each one. We still miss visiting with Marcy. He would come out while I was gardening and say " You need a break". Lots of good memories. Madelyn is gone from this earth but forever in your hearts. With great sympathy, LaVern and Nancy Hauschildt.

So sorry to hear of Madelyn's passing. Always enjoyed visiting with her - at church - at Festival - wherever we happened to bump in to her. Always a smile on her face, always glad to chat. She was a woman of great faith, love, and compassion. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I first met Madelyn when we lived across the street from her parents in Winona. She never forgot us. We stayed in touch through the children as I had most of them in class at Holmen HS. What a wonderful person, mother, mentor and friend. She will be missed.

David, very sorry to hear of Madelyn's passing. Donna saw it on Facebook. I exchanged emails every so often with Madelyn and Christmas cards each year. I will remember her in prayers at mass tomorrow. Cousin Tom Raiche

Dear Mom Grab., Thank you for always taking the time to listen to me, encouraging me and most of all for being such a special part of my life. Your Chex Mix was and will always be the best, your hugs were special and I loved how your eyes lite up every time I visited you. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for loving me, Randy and the boys like your own, until we meet again. Love, Laura
