Jim was one of the most kind men I have ever known. I saw him as a patient at our dental office for years. He loved Miss Kitty and always spoke about his family. We will miss his wonderful smile!! Rest In Peace Jim!

My sincere sympathy to Jim's family. We were classmates at Central during those turbulent 1940s. Jim was a faithful attendee at all our many reunions. Usually the local residents seldom attended, but Jim made it to all 7 or 8 that we held. I did not realize that we were both Korean War veterans and served in that country. Another bond between us.

I worked with Jim at Trane in the Spotwelding Dept. for many years & helped him fix his truck & work around his house. We enjoyed many times together, but grew apart & I was planning on going to see him this week & wish I had gone early last week when I thought about it. I had seen him at some funerals on the the firing squad for Military Honors & had a chance to talk to him then. Going to miss him. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

I am the 2nd son of his older Brother Paul and am saddened by the news. My relationship with Jim was not especially close, as My father's Air Force service put us far afield. Nevertheless, I had a great deal of respect for Jim and always enjoyed our talks, exchanges and too infrequent visits. I know that the Lord has welcomed him. Regards, Bill Krett

Words like "spirited","determined", ""kind", and "fun loving" come to mind when I think of Jim. Heaven has a new angel!

My cousin Jim was a very special part of my life. I was an only child so he became my big brother. He did all the things a big brother would do as I was growing up. His love, care and guidence for me was always there no matter what. He helped me fix my bikes and later on my cars, taught me how to shoot and duck hunt. But more importantly he showed me by example how to be a caring, responsible, faith filled person. His love of family was evident as he cared for his and my mothers and later his wonderful wife Gloria. We will miss him immensely. With Love, Pat and Elaine
