I have a book full of wonderful memories of Marilyn. Of course we met at Quilter's group and that was the beginning of a 38 year special friendship. We traveled to Paducah, Kentucky for several years, and then finally to New York City to view our own handwork in 1992. We had frequent coffee meetings at our favorite booth at Mc'D. Her favorite trip was to our monthly trips to Lake City to visit her favorite Chickadee Cottage lunch room, followed to a long stay at the Busy Bee quilting shop. We both looked forward to these summer trips. I will miss Marilyn and treasure our memories. She was a amazing friend, and I loved her dearly.

Marilyn must have been a pretty amazing person because I know her daughter Mary and she is a wonderful person. So to Marilyn I would say "job well done" and may you rest in peace. All my deepest sympathy to the family of this loving Angel. Terri Eastman Fischer

I knew Marilyn from meetings of the LaCrosse Area Quilters, especially the morning group (over 15 years ago). Her meticulous piecing was always impressive, and I really enjoyed her company.
