Guestbook for Darren K. Amundson
sign guestbook

Dear Amundson Family. I had not heard of Darren's passing prior to today when I read your thank you note in the tribune. I am in shock. I have known Darren for 40 years and I have been visiting with him every time we see each other when I deliver Little Debbie's to Woodmans. We would talk about youth sports and whatever else came up. I never saw him without a smile and I was just wondering when I would be seeing him next. If I am fortunate enough to see him again, I will probably mention he should have bought some Little Debbie's! He will be greatly missed and I am tremendously sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Craig Evenson

Dear Henry and family I’m no longer at HMS and just found out your dear dad passed away. Henry, I’m so sorry. I met your parents a few times and your father was just the greatest! He was so kind to me as your teacher. Henry, you have inherited your father’s kind and gentle way. Please know you are loved and my heart breaks for you all. Love, Kendra Bringe

We mostly remember Darren from about 20 years ago. (And didn't hear about his passing until a week later, having been out of town.) But the young man we remember was exactly as you describe him--"gentle and kind" and never one to say a bad word about anybody. We are SO sorry to hear of your loss! May your memories, the love of this community (and of our Savior) console you!
