Guestbook for Daniel Haines
sign guestbook

Dear family of Brother Sir Knight Dan Haines, I was deeply saddened to learn of my brother knight's passing. It had been my great pleasure and privilege to get to know him during his time at Brookdale, to visit him at the hospital after his fall and during his stay at Onalaska Care Center. I came to see how deeply he treasured the Word of God in Sacred Scripture and to receive Holy Communion which I was privileged to bring him every Sunday over the past 6 months. I and my brother Knights of Assembly 1195 and Council 839 miss him very much and we hope and pray that he is in the Loving Presence of our Lord and God. Fraternally yours in Christ, Charlie Charlie Peters Grand Knight, Council 839 Honor Guard, Assembly 1195

My thoughts prayers and sympathy to the Haines family. My father and Dan were in the National Guard together there in Onalaska. I remember a time we were stranded in La Crosse with car trouble, and my dad called Dan. He came out and rescued us. Between that and the many family picnic's at the armory I'll always have fond memories. Rest In Peace "Booner" Denny Henkes Winona, MN
