Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time for our family. I'll never forget all the great memories my mother shared with not only our family but all those she had with the many friends she had throughout her life. She was taken too soon, but I know she is resting peacefully by just seeing all the support shown through the past week or so. I was very fortunate to have her as my Mother.

I so wanted to get away from the office for Karen's visitation/funeral. Sorry, very busy & could not get away. I enjoyed seeing Karen & Don when they would come into Coulee to watch Todd bowl. I enjoyed chatting with Karen. She was so pleasant & down to earth. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts & prayers have been with & will be with your family.

Karen and I had an inspiring dream of having a special sanctuary for old dogs and cats whose owners were no longer able to care for them. We often talked about it and thought it to be a great idea . Since she loved cats and I loved dogs, we would be great caring partners in this endeavor. I will miss my dear friend, and all our stories we shared through the years.

The best thing about going to work on a Monday morning was knowing that Karen and I were going to recap the weekend's NASCAR race. I am really going to miss her. She was so kind and caring.

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about Karen's passing. I worked with her for a couple of years at Mayo Onalaska and I will always picture her at the front desk area with the caring and accepting attitude she had towards everyone. I remember when I came back after a few weeks from a medical leave she had made me a beautiful handmade card and I was so touched! I also remember that she lit up whenever she talked about her family! She was a special lady and her spirit will live on through her family legacy. Love never dies. I am grateful that I had the honor of crossing paths with Karen in this life. My thoughts are with all of you during this sad time.

We had such fun as kids going to grandma tena’s for holidays and just hanging out. I am glad we continued to keep in touch, even if it was just Christmas cards, occasional Facebook posts and emails. I am too far away (New Mexico) to make it back. My heart goes out to Don, the boys and grandkids who will miss you deeply. Rest In Peace. Your cousin.

We met at Sherman School it feels like yesterday. We were at each other's homes. Your kitty Snowball would eat at the table with us. We had a lot good times at Sherman and East. Shared a lot of secrets. Had some fights but stayed friends through it all. Thanks for the memories Karen. Gone but never forgotten

I will just never forget our miscommunication of our opossum pants conversation. I can't remember when I laughed so hard in all my life. Every time I think of it it makes me smile. I will forever miss you.

I was SO saddened to hear of Karen’s passing. We worked together at Schweser for 18 mos & had some good times there. My PA was at the Center for Women’s Health & so I visited with her there & we have kept in contact since we first met at Schweser Sept 2013. She was a great person with such a fun-loving personality. Donny, boys/families, please know you are in my thoughts during this time of great loss & will always treasure our friendship!
