Guestbook for Roger C. Winter
sign guestbook

I enjoyed working with Roger on many transportation challenges over the years. He was always a class act and a true professional who represented his state well and who took seriously the role of public servant. My sympathy to his family in your loss.

You people are so blessed to have had Roger as the head of your family. I knew him from WIDOT and from WSPE. He was always cheerful, smiling and willing to help. He also had good ideas for improving things. R.I.P., Rodge, and rest in your savior's arms.

Bonnie & family, We were so sorry to read that Roger has passed away....our hearts go out to you & your family at this time & want you to know that you are in our thoughts & prayers. Bernie is in a nursing home now & I am in Eagle Crest South independent living. I have taken care of Bernie for 5 years, until he needed more care, so had to put him in a care facility. But we are only 2 blocks from each other which is so handy for getting together. I am with him at least twice a week. I have put up our home for sale now after 49 years in the same place! (I have been downsizing for 3 years) I don't go to church at MMOC anymore, for I take Bernie to mass at Riverside where he is living now. So I probably won't see you at the Christmas luncheons.... Friends always, Betty

Our condolences to the Winter family. Roger was the perfect example of a true professional engineer. A great example and mentor for many.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad and difficult time. My memories of Roger were from high school when I would be at your house with Kristi. Roger was such a nice, nice man. Bonnie, I have seen you a few times in various places and have always wanted to say, "hi", but didn't know if you would remember me. Next time I see you I will introduce myself. So sorry for your loss!
