Guestbook for Betty Lou Ruud
sign guestbook

It is with much sorrow to learn of the passing of one of the Ikert girls who took care of my sister and myself starting in the 40's. Betty, Lorraine and Sally were caring, responsible and fun. Walks to the grocery store were highlights and playing with the dog, "pounding on the piano" and trips to the garden in the backyard. Betty and I would run into each other every once in a while and it always brought smiles to our faces. On the short side of 77 now I still and will always remember those good times. Thank you.

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I have fond memories going to your Mother's home after high school or being there to 'hang out' with Jenny'. Your mother would always have a smile on her face and join in at times with our conversations. May the soul of your mother be at peace with our Heavenly Father.

I worked with Betty in the GI Lab at Gundersen. Betty always had a smile for everyone. She was a very compassionate and friendly person. I enjoyed working with her. You have my deepest sympathy.

So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Betty for 10 years in the emergency room she was my supervisor and worked and registration. She was very supportive of me. Then years later I worked with her when she worked in gastroenterology. Felt I felt like we’ve come full circle. But he was a very nice lady easy to talk to and caring. She was an asset to Lutheran. Teresa my condolences to you particularly. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Diane

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Betty in Patient Services at Gundersen Medical Center (formerly Lutheran Hospital) both inpatient and outpatient. I ran in to Betty a couple years ago and was very surprised to see she was still working. We caught up a little bit and it was definitely nice to see her again. I'm sure you have lots of memories to help you through this time of loss.
