I have so many good memories of Sharon, as she grew up, and when you two married. You two made such a good couple. Her obituary was so well written, and she would have been so happy with all the people that were at her funeral, showing how much she was loved! She was a very special lady and we will miss her. Take care of yourself Bob. Darlene Dayton

What a wonderful, sweet niece Sharon was! I so admired her determination to pursue the education she needed to become a teacher of sight-challenged children who flourished under her kind help. She will be greatly missed! And I thank you, Bob, for your unwavering devotion to her care these past months. you both have been a real inspiration to me.

Thinking of you Bob at this very tough time. Its wonderful to see a picture of Sharon. Reminds me of her kind spirit and her gentle grace. She was just like her Mother. I've enjoyed reading the posts from her many admirers. She sure did a lot of good. Take care of yourself, Mark

Always appreciated Sharon's kind attitude and willingness to learn new things for her students. Starting the Techology Support position 10 yrs ago her school in Denver was our first call. Last year in New Hampton was one of my last. Sincere condolences on your loss. DD

Bob and Sharon were always so caring to me. They would come once a year to visit in Missouri, always bearing a gift, flowers, a good dessert, good coffee, batteries for a clock that had stopped, electrical apparatus, always so generous. You could see the love between them and Bob ALWAYS opening Sharon's car door. Having lost my husband, I'm aware of the lonesomeness Bob is going to suffer from losing such a fine wife at such an early age. My only consolation is I know Sharon is going to a much better place. She will be sorely missed. My love and best to Bob. Love, Aunt Helen

I enjoyed reconnecting with my cousin Sharon while she had chemo over the summer. She told me she loved travelling and teaching vision impaired kids how to use a cane. I encouraged her to walk and build up her strength so she could get back to teaching and plan a trip. We had similar gyn cancers and treatment, but her cancer took over. She was a kind soul and she will be missed.

Our prayers go out to you Bob, and know she will be sorely missed. WE look forward to seeing her once again...God speed that day. Love, Scott and Gayle

Bob and family, Sharon was our friend—a tender, caring soul with good will and thoughtful concern. She brought joy and light with her naturally warm smile whenever we saw her— since 1992 when we met you and Sharon and her parents in the LaCrosse Church. Our prayers continue with you. God bless you, and May God bless Sharon’s memory as she blessed many others in His service.

Where to begin. This woman made me the person I am today. She taught me as much as should could about vision. Loved her like a mom, she even babysat my little ones. She will be greatly missed. Love you to the moon, Sharon, until we meet again.

Bob, thinking of you and yours as you go through this difficult time. Sharon was a wonderful person and I have many joyful childhood memories of when our families and cousins would gather on the Tranberg, Melby, or Conrad farms and play for hours on end. She will be dearly missed.
