He was a great guidance counselor.

I was a counselor with Arland at Logan High for 13 years. His athletic background made him a natural for "rolling with the punches." My heartfelt sympathy to Katie and family.

Arlene, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your brother. I remember Arland speaking of the wonderful trip that you and your husband made possible for all of the family. He so appreciated it. Blessings, Jeanne Baeder Steuck

Our sincere sympathy to the family of Arland Peterson. I had Mr. Peterson for a teacher at Logan and he was a wonderful and caring man to everyone. My husband and I will miss seeing him at Nutbush with all his teaching and coaching friends for breakfast. He will be missed.

Our sympathy to Kathleen and the family. Ron graduated in 1952 as well and we were Grenadiers with Oktoberfest when he was Torchlight Parade Marshal.

A Logan student in the late 60's I was fortunate to have "Pete" as a teacher and coach. He was respected by all of us. He was gifted human being and had a unique ability to relate to the students and athletes. He touched many in positive ways.

I sure will miss serving him his "deep fried bacon" on Sunday mornings. This is very sad news. Hugs to you Kathleen!

Our deepest sympathy's! Mr Peterson was always full of encouragement and funny one liners. I had the pleasure to be a timer at track meets over the years and I had more enjoyment talking about old times and school functions with him over the years. He will be sorely missed!

I will always remember Arland as one of the best, yet most intimidating, WIAA track and field starters. I loved it when he would do the starts because he'd always come talk to me first and give me words of encouragement. Just thinking about him makes me smile. I will forever hold him in my memories as one of the greatest people I have ever met. Please accept my deepest of sympathies. May he rest in peace and watch over all of us.
