I just heard the news of John’s passing from Mom. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I remember John best from the years that he operated the store in Mindoro. He was always kind, helpful, professional, hard working, and had a great laugh. He certainly was one of the legends from Mindoro and will be missed.

Dear Franki and family, We am so sorry for your loss. What a great husband you had. I know that Steve Fredrick held John in high esteem and that he and John share a bond from their Vietnam service. We all liked John and you. Take care of yourself. I send hugs and prayers your way.

I have had you Frankie , in my thoughts this past week . What a wonderful wife and friend you were to John . Always so loving and caring to each other . Watching you with John was so beautiful and with you’re voice or touch he would calm down . He knew he was loved by you . Josh and Michael are amazing sons . You and John should be so proud ., What a tribute to both you and John . I will miss his “birthday calls” . It always made me feel special ,I will always miss him , what a wonderful man . I am proud to be his sister . My love to all of you who have lost the brother , the husband and the father , uncle and grandfather .

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of John. I was one of the nurses that had the honor of getting to know John. He was always kind and graceful about everything that came his way. He was a wonderful example of grace under pressure.
