Guestbook for Galen E. Turner
sign guestbook

Dad is in the warm and comforting hands of our Lord. All who knew him were so blessed to have him in or as a part of their lives. We already miss him greatly. I am relieved that he is in a much better place – with no pain, with a big happy smile on his face, with as much vocal clarity and energy and love of life that he shared with most of us here for so many good years. I’m hoping he’s out there somewhere playing tennis or bridge with his buddies. When I remember Dad, I can now easily look past the last few years – to so many great years of love of happiness and pure joy – you can see it in all of the pictures on the boards. He loved life… He loved Mom dearly and He loved us all equally… and we loved him so. Our father didn't tell us how to live... HE LIVED... and let us watch him do it. He taught us by example - the best example of pure thoughts, strong integrity, patience, compassion and self-discipline. Rest in peace Dad and let us sing Your praise forever and ever. You are forever in our hearts. Love Bradley

Joanne and family, Our sincere sympathy for your loss. Joanne, Doug & I enjoyed getting to know you and Galen as neighbors on Beth Lane. I remember one particular day that the four of us took a day trip up the the Mississippi on the Minnesota side and down on the Wisconsin side just for the fun of it. We enjoyed stopping for ice-cream cones along with about 100 other visitors (LOL) at Nelson, Wi. Truly a very sweet memory!
