Guestbook for Marilyn E. Trisch
sign guestbook

I remember all the Smith and Johnson get togethers at Anthony and Anna's. It was always special when Marilyn would be back from Wisconsin. She was special to me because she was a sponsor at my baptism. One time I was in La Cross with a friend and we went to eat at a restuarant and there in the next booth was Marilyn, we spent the next day with her and she showed us around La Cross. It was a great day.

I remember growing up in SD that whenever Marilyn and John were coming from WI to grandpa and grandma's it meant we would all be gathering for a picnic or holiday celebration. Marilyn was the type of aunt that spent time with the nieces and nephews listening intently to our many stories about school, church, friends, etc. She always made us feel really special. I remember she'd sit at the table with me and do crafts, she tried to teach me to crochet (I could only crochet a chain). More recently when I talked with her on the phone, we reminisced about many things, but we also talked about my crocheting. Again, she said she would teach me how. I didn't really think I could learn, but she believed I could. Marilyn will always be remembered for her kindness and love and will be missed greatly by her many friends, her sister Clarice, sister-in-law Carol, nieces and nephews. Thank you for the memories, Marilyn!!
