Guestbook for Jim Newmann
sign guestbook

Very many fond memories of Jim, along with his wife, Donna, assisting with the mid-to-late '70s youth groups at the Methodist Church in Whitewater. The most noteable being the mission trips, e.g. McCurdy Ministries, NM, and Clay County, KY, as well as excursions to places in or near WI, e.g. Isle Royale and near their home stomping ground while canoeing on the Kickapoo. Rest in peace, Jim Newmann, and sincere condolences to Donna, Cory, Shanna and the entire Newmann family.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I have very fond memories of Jim from my years in youth group, especially our youth trip to New Mexico. He was such a fun and loving person and a great mentor to so many young people! May your memories of Jim and the knowledge that he is now without pain help ease your grief.

You and Jim were such young, committed youth leaders when you and Beherns came out to our place one afternoon. We felt of Jim just as the obit mentioned, quiet but kind and faithfilled. We shall never forget that he was called home to become finally pain free and useful in the kingdom. You and yours, Donna, are in out thoughts and prayers as you navigate this new reality. Love always, jim and sue schlough
