Sandra K. Paulson, 71, of Onalaska, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at her home. Sandy was born on March 7, 1945 to La Vern and Viola (Konter) Sauer. She married Paul Paulson on July 19, 1969 at Trinity Lutheran church in La Crosse. They spent their married life at their home on Brice Prairie. Sandy worked at Outers Labratories on Brice Prairie for many years before her retirement.
Sandy was a kind and giving person who loved to cook and was famous for her macaroni salad, which everyone loved. She was an avid reader and collector of cookbooks. For enjoyment she would look through those many cookbooks finding that special recipe to try. Sandy was an animal lover and bird watcher and enjoyed her own dogs and cats in earlier years, and her sons' "grandogs" who visited in her later years.
She is survived by her husband and two sons Alan (Bonnie) Paulson of La Crescent, MN and Jeffery (Julie) Paulson of Holmen, WI, two grandsons; Adam and Isaac Paulson of Holmen, her mother, Viola Sauer and one sister, Bonnie (Ronald) Page. She is also survived by a nephew, Jeramy (Jennifer) Page and a niece Melissa (Brian) Ender.
She was preceded in death by her father, La Vern Sauer, and father and mother-in-law, Rolf and Ida Paulson.
