Thelma A. Weber, 90, of La Crosse, WI. died peacefully April 25, 2017 at 4:30 a.m. at Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse. Thelma was born April 2,1927 in Hixton, WI to Magnus and Olga (Olson) Myhre.

Thelma was a 1945 graduate of Westby High School and was then employed from 1945 - 1952 at Lutheran Hospital as a nursing assistant. In 1952, she married Robert L. Weber, USAF, and lived in England, Hawaii and several other states. They retired and moved to La Crosse in 1974. Thelma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the ELCA Women's Organization. She was a devoted wife and mother and mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and entertaining her grandchildren. Thelma also enjoyed crafts, gardening, fishing, shopping and made the best apple pie and rosettes in the area.

Thelma is survived by her son Steven (Carol) Weber of Coon Valley; Daughters; Rebecca (David) Schield, Middleton, WI; Regina (David) Lezpona, Onalaska, WI; Robin (Steve) Bahr, La Crosse, WI. Eleven grandchildren; Lee Ann (Ben) Heinz, Lance, Luke (Jenny), and Laura Weber; Jessica (Josh Reeves), Jeff, and Grace Schield (Luke Virnig); Christopher and Carmen Lezpona (Tyler Adams); Jamie (Kim) Bahr and Emily Rose (Mike Phillips) and great-grandchildren, Macy Rose, Hayden Rose, Rian Reeves, Abigail Reeves, Jacob Bahr, Agatha Weber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Martin (Verla) Myhre, Oscar (Florence) Myhre, Chester (Erma) Myhre, Eli (Inez) Myhre, Lloyd Myhre, Tennie (Gladys) Myhre, Milton (Verna) Myhre, and foster brother Bernard (Harriet) Myhre and sisters; Belva (Melvin) Fink, Mabel (Merton) Bobholz, Hazel (Lester) Bobholz, and Aleda (Otis) Anderson. Thelma was special to all of us and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Dickinson Family Funeral Home (1425 Jackson Street, La Crosse). Friends and family are invited to a visitation at the funeral on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Scott Skogen will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in La Crosse.
